A tiny spider,
many legs for a body,
too much eye sight for one head.
Barely seen and never heard
only a target
lest a scream deems it a danger.
Cobwebs are delicate and invisible
yet invasive to space of the unaware
larger specimens of this earth.
We share a room
and that little spider
keeps me safe.
